Whew, I don't know about you all, but I'm beat (in a happy sort of way). Thanks to each of you for helping out with our show today. We had a great turn out (thanks Kathy S. for publicity). We were refreshed with snacks and cold water (thanks Wanda, Jerry, Kathy and Barbara S.). Our raffle quilt was prominently displayed (thanks Vicki, Pat and crew). We had lots of quilts to enjoy and great vendors to share our money with. There was top notch recorded music (thanks honey) and live music (again, thanks Pat). And to all of you who were in charge of the weather - you did an OUTSTANDING job!! I believe there will be pictures on the blog soon.
This is the week for our meeting!
*We'll have block of the month with Diane.
* Remember your strips for the batik swap.
*Remember your springtime handmade potholder for the potholder swap.
*Colleen and friends will have a demo you'll want to watch so you'll be prepared for the tessellation class at the second May meeting. You'll also need to sign up for the class in order to get instructions and the super secret tool!
*And check out the library, pick up a treasure off the free table, and chat with friends.
