Remember to bring to class on Thursday: your completed homework. Option 1: a 9-patch or option 2 4 patches or option other. Cutting mat and rotary cutter, ruler that is at least 12" long, sewing machine, thread, pins, something to take notes with and your lunch if you are plan on staying.

NMQA Spring Fling

NMQA Spring Fling Quilt Show

When: May 18 – 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, May 19 – 9:00 am to 5:00 pm 

Where: Albuquerque Convention Center 401, 2nd Street NW 

Why: to publicize NMQA and the evolution of quilting through the years, to enjoy the talents of fellow quilters and to SHOP! 

This is a non-judged show and not limited to NMQA members, so tell your friends with wonderful quilts that they are welcome and we’d like to show their quilts. There will be a silent auction, door prizes, great quilts, including a vintage quilt display and forty traveling quilts from the 2011 Hoffman Challenge. And of course, wonderful vendors! Friday at 12:00 noon we will have a “flash mob” on Second Street in front of the Convention Center. Bring a small quilt to wave during this event and join in the fun!
